Recently, the Procuratorate of Yumen City, Gansu Province, in conjunction with volunteers from the "Yixin Weigong" program and specially invited assistant prosecutors, conducted an evaluation of the effectiveness of the rectification of the supervision and rectification case of the inadequate supervision of vending machines handled by the procuratorate. It is reported that in March this year, during the special action of "inspecting and protecting people's livelihoods", the Yumen City Procuratorate found through visits and investigations that some vending machines in densely populated places such as hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, and parks in the jurisdiction had problems such as not disclosing their business licenses and food business licenses. The main responsibility for food safety was unclear, and there was a lack of daily supervision, which not only violated consumers' right to know, but also posed certain food safety hazards. The court then launched a special investigation into the clues of the case of inadequate supervision of vending machines.

During the case, we took the initiative to visit and invite regulatory authorities for consultation and discussion. We had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the regulatory blind spots in the vending machine industry, confirmed the facts of the damage to public interests based on the investigation results, and formed consultation opinions, "said the prosecutor in charge of the case.

After the meeting, the regulatory authorities conducted a special law enforcement inspection and conducted a comprehensive "physical examination" of more than 30 vending machines placed in public places such as hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, and parks in their jurisdiction. They urged business entities to disclose relevant information such as business licenses and food business licenses in accordance with the law, and at the same time increased daily supervision of vending machine equipment, allowing consumers to purchase and consume with peace of mind.

On the basis of urging the thorough rectification of problems, we will further enhance our ideological understanding, implement the 'four strictest' requirements, strengthen the daily supervision of vending machines, and prevent problems that harm the legitimate rights and interests of consumers from occurring, "said the relevant person in charge of the regulatory department.
